Riaan Welman

Riaan is a new artist that only discovered his artistic talent in March 2008. He is currently attending classes at The Art Studio in Pretoria, South Africa, where he is being mentored by Fernanda De Lange. Riaan has a lot of raw talent and has the potential to become one of South Africa's greats. Keep your eye on this artist.

At this stage Riaan is experimenting with various mediums to find what suits his creative style. Riaan is very fond of pencils, but also created his own mixed medium style, being ink wash, fineliner and pastel.

Riaan is inspired by all beautiful things in life, especially things that display the beauty of his Creator. He specialises in portraits in any medium and does commission work.
